Re: New Hair Mesh Simulation Technique
Hey Cem, Amazing to see the new sim technique. Its been a while I worked with hair-farm since my studio work is mostly on Maya and the pipeline is now oriented for Shave and haircut. Always wanted to get back to working with hair-farm. I am starting a personal project based off a famous painters wor...

Mohanlal eyes
Hi, This was a sparetime attempt at creating the likeness of one of the most admired actors in India - Mohanlal (mutiple times Indian National award winning Actor) with just his eyes. Hair-farm came in very handy and as a real quick solution for the eyebrows and lashes. Excuse the bad animation.. :)...

Re: Art in Action
Tats nice !
To me, the mane sim looks cool. I feel the tail would need more work..very less hair on it and feeling too light.

Re: Friends heads
Thanks Luc ! I dont follow any trick as such. After I brush them in the required direction, I use multiple copies of modifiers like Kink, Frizz and curve with slightly variant values. Its pure experimental. Even I am not sure if this is the perfect way. But I find its quick to get close to what we w...

Thanks Cem.
Yes. It was the brush and maps mostly. Some long hair stuff needed hairmesh (like the front area on the last one)

Friends heads
Hi all, Just thought I'd share some time pass self assignments to 3d model my friends and folk around me, of course with their respective hairstyles. I would need time to tweak it all for renders. But styling wise this was an awesome experience. http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c153/anishmations/3d...

A hair cut
Hi,
Just thought I'd share a simple haircut animation I'd made a while back. Just got it rendered (low quality settings).
Its amazing how hair-farm can get flexible, yet with great ease.
