Re: Bunny
Hi Jacek, I'm sorry, but I can't help you with that. This render has been done with scanline. I would usually render the skin in MR and then add the hair on top of it, but as in this case almost everything is covered with fur and this was mostly a model and fur test, I just created some standard sca...
Bunny
I've created this bunny to be used later in another project. So far I've only done the modeling and the hair, the eyes and the skin below are not textured, but the result won't be too far from this, so I thought it was a good moment to post it.

Re: Naomi Hair
Thanks Cem. I did them with the spiral modifier and a lot of subdivisions on the hair to have enough detail. You can either generate very few hairs, curl them and then use the wisp modifier to get enough hairs on each curl, or have many extrusions on a dense base mesh, so each extrusion becomes a cu...

Naomi Hair
I've been working on this new character, and this is a head/textures/hair test I've done. The character is a bit cartoon/stylized, so the hair hasn't been rendered with all the details it could have (eg: speed up is on), to match the style of the character, but I'm happy with the result even with th...

That trailer looks great! It was very interesting to see how you animated the lenght map to make the hair grow.

Re: Samantha v3 [Nudity]
Yes, I had to tweak the mesh a bit, but it didn't took too long to change. When I started this project my first idea was to do a simple and short hairstyle so I could avoid tweaking the hair for each pose... I didn't really accomplished any of those, as you can see.

Samantha v3 [Nudity]
I've created the bridge image as a test for this cartoon character I'm working on. I'm planning to create at least another image with her, including clothes and a proper scenery, but I wanted to check if the character was working, and also wanted to test some things I've never done before, like usin...

Re: Platige - Cyberpunk 2077
I think they wanted to render it in v-ray, and as this was done before hair-farm 2.0, they converted it to splines and I think they used ornatrix to do the render, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Re: Sonate n°8
I personally find it easier to work with the hair-mesh modeling method than the spline method for most hairstyles, maybe you should see if that can also work for you. I would also say having more but thinner hairs would improve the result, and also some uncombed ones that don't follow the main flow ...

Re: Platige - Cyberpunk 2077
I did the hair-farm version of that hair (I think they converted it splines and rendered in another software), so let me know if you have any specific questions.

Jenni
I started working on this character a couple of years ago, but had to pause it all this time till I've got some free time to finish it. The main goal was to create a couple of realistic close-up renders of a character's head. And here's the link to a hair test I posted on another thread: http://www....

Here's the base hairmesh for that hairstyle. Sorry it took me a bit to post it, but it has been hard to find a moment to take the screenshots these days.

2012 Hairstyles
I've been working on this hairstyle for a personal project during my free time. This one was rendered in scanline with hair-farm 2.0 and AO, so it was also a good way to test this new feature. I've also been asking for permission to post some of the hairstyles I've been doing on comission this year ...

Re: TaylorJames - PolarBear/Kangaroo
Impressive results, specially on the bear, 100% real.
I'm curious about the render times of that GI dome, that's something I considered doing sometimes, but I wasn't sure the result was worth the render times. Does that add a lot of render time?

Re: 4 Hairstyles
I don't know, I've never tried animating them. But usually there are 1-3 base hair layers, the other ones are uncombed layers, so if the simulation of multiple hair meshes could cause problems, I guess a solution would be to only simulate the important layers, and make all the uncombed layers move p...
