Re: new to Hair Farm!
ok major update! (at least I hope it is) :D hair_test_9_3_2.jpg I wanted to add some blue strands, since it's a sci-fi character, I thought might as well make the hair looks a bit different. hair_test_9_3_1.jpg I find that using two Hair Generate modifier gives it a nice rich look to it. I'll start ...

Re: Woman hair in progress
amazing work! that's all I can say.

Re: Woman hair in progress
wow, my jaw dropped! lol
it looks so good and realistic!
yeah I would love to see how you handle the hair mesh and settings!
how do you get some single hair strays going randomly? they looked so good!
did you use simulation for the hairs on the shoulder? or just model the hair mesh?

Re: new to Hair Farm!
Thanks guys! so I add all the hairs I need for her, and start playing around with the Hair Sim, trying to have the hair sit nicely on the body. http://www.ttyi.net/images/hair/hair_test_7_15.jpg played with it for quite a long time, I found out that it is absolutely crucial to tweak around with Peri...

Re: new to Hair Farm!
a little progress update. =) http://www.ttyi.net/images/hair_test_7_12_2.jpg using a bit frizz and kink makes breaks the "flat" uniform look of the hair, which makes it looks much more natural to me, the curve adjustment for them are awesome! I'll fine tune the setting a bit more later~ I'...

Re: Waddabich (NUDITY)
this is wonderful!
I tried bunch of sim and none of it as good as this, do you mind to share with us your settings?
somehow when I simulate the hair start going through the collision objects.. even if I turn up the subdiv a bit.

Re: new to Hair Farm!
This is now using extrude and hair mesh modeling and the thickness is also adjusted, hopefully looks a bit better:
*update: I remove the image so it won't get the post so big.

Re: new to Hair Farm!
Thanks Cem! =) yeah I'm currently using spline and making hair mesh with it, so I guess that's why it is intersecting each other. I should try extrude from the head model/hair cap but is there a way to sort of have the extrude mesh following the spline I already made just to save some time? sorry fo...

new to Hair Farm!
Hi guys! I'm new here! so I was building a character, and when I get to hair, I start to look for a new solution than the old hair and fur modifier, and that leads me here. =) after a long consideration, I decided to get hair farm. Played around with it, I absolutely love it! here is what I am doing...
