Here is a still from an ipad app, "The Owl and the Pussycat - An Animated Book"
This was a small internal project we created at Jonatronix.
We used Hairfarm for the cat fur and owl feathers.
Rendered in Mental Ray.

What did you use for hair rendering? Have you rendered hair using the Hair Farm Renderer (with scanline or any other renderer) or mental ray?
