My name is Heber Conde, I am from Vagalume Animation Studios, A medium sized 3D animation House in Brazil, and I want to share with you our first job involving Hair Farm.

It´s a Full-HD Stereo 3D Animation, done in Max by 12 artist (over 45 days and nights).

Beautiful animations. Really love the style.

Lovely cartoony style, and cool to see some long hair with nice looking simulation.
Some of the hair felt a bit slow-motion, but it fit in with the cartoony style

I agree with the simulation issues!
I´ve tried hard to simulate all shoots but since there were too fast movements along the animation, MeshLink were choosed to solve the more complex takes! It works fine!

It's a shame who ever posted this on CGTalk and got a front page plug didn't mention 'Hair-Farm' for the creation of the hair..instead of just 'scan line' mentioned.

Either way, very nice work.
